Hamilton County Local Development Authority Mission and Board Members

The mission of the not-for-profit Hamilton County Local Development Corporation is to improve the economic well-being of resident sthrough the support, expansion and creation of businesses throughout the county.

Because Hamilton County is the most rural of all New York State Counties, it faces business and employment challenges unknown any where else in the state. The LDC seeks to build a loan program that will be less restrictive than traditional small business loan programs. The goal is to be pro-active in helping maintain and improve infrastructure necessary for year-round employment, improved quality of life and a sustainable tax base.
