The Hamilton County Department of Economic Development works with the county's business community – both existing and proposed – in business and marketing planning and assistance. Its overall mission is to grow the county's private sector business assets and foster job creation.
Since the majority of the county's business community is involved in tourism – related enterprises, both Economic Development and Tourism are combined in one Hamilton County department.
